Senior Analyst


Zoey Kernodle is a senior analyst with the Advisory Board's Philanthropy Leadership Council, serving hospital foundations and internal development offices at academic medical centers, children's hospitals, and community hospitals. Since joining Advisory Board in 2016, her research has focused on campaign and major gifts fundraising, donor-advised funds and other innovative philanthropic practices, and has worked to improve vital resources and tools for the membership, including the performance benchmarking initiative.

With a background in fundraising at large academic institutions and a national non-profit, she has extensive industry experience with campaign implementation, board management, philanthropic strategy, and constituent engagement.

Zoey has a master's from Emory University where she studied theology and political philosophy, and a bachelor's degree in religious studies from North Carolina State University.
