The Medicare and Medicaid Promoting Interoperability (PI) Programs, formerly Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs (i.e., Meaningful Use), introduces a performance-based standard instead of the previous all-or-nothing measure threshold requirements. In addition, the MIPS Advancing Care Information (ACI) category, now also renamed to PI, is overhauled to align with the changes introduced for Medicare hospitals.
Eligible Hospitals (EHs) and MIPS Eligible Clinicians (ECs) can use this tool to estimate their PI score based on current performance, and target improvement goals.
