Raising the bar on performance and public health reporting: What you need to know about the hospital Promoting Interoperability program changes for 2022
September 29, 2021
2:00 PM - 3:00 PMAmerica/New_York
The 2022 Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) final rule includes updates to the Promoting Interoperability (PI) program. Year-over-year, hospitals must continue to fulfil PI and electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) reporting requirements in order to avoid hefty penalties. For 2022, CMS finalized more stringent requirements that raise the bar on PI performance and reporting. In this webinar, we’ll prepare you for success in 2022, with a special focus on updated public health reporting mandates.
Things you'll learn:
- Important changes to the hospital PI program for 2022 and beyond and how you should respond;
- Why hospitals need to focus on boosting performance and public health reporting for PI program success;
- What implementing the eCR public health measure means for your hospital, with guest speaker Dr. Loonsk, Consulting CMIO to the Association of Public Health Laboratories.
Presenters: Ye Hoffman, Director, Quality Reporting Roundtable. Guest speaker: Dr. John Loonsk, Consulting Chief Medical Informatics Officer to the Association of Public Health Laboratories.
